  • Boudoir and Nude (full body or parts, capture sensuality, light, poses, composition)
  • Child portrait (e.g., one or more children, newborn ect. )
  • Couple portrait -Maternity
  • Family / group portrait (three people or more)
  • Man Portrait (e.g., lifestyle, business portrait, ect.)
  • Woman Portrait (e.g., lifestyle, business portrait, ect.)

 

ANIMAL PORTRAIT CATEGORY
(e.g., animal, farm animal, wild animal, horses, birds, dog, cat, underwater ect.)

 


WEDDING PORTRAIT CATEGORY

  • Wedding portrait (e.g., photo taken on the spot, bride, groom, etc.)
  • Group/Family Wedding (three people or more)

COMMERCIAL PUBLICATION AND ILLUSTRATION

(e.g.: cars, motorcycles, trucks, parts, beverages/liquids, beauty products, culinary, jewelry/watches, fashion, lifestyle, medicine (any product or person related to medicine), miscellaneous products, travel, etc.)


MACRO and CLOSE UP

(Photos taken with artistic rules in mind, such as lighting, composition, color, line, etc.)

PHOTOJOURNALISM

Digital retouching should be limited to basic adjustments (contrast, cropping, etc.). Excessive manipulation are not allowed.

(e.g., photos submitted in this category must be authentic, unposed, and capture raw moments of truth. They should highlight social, political, economic, or cultural aspects of our world, public personalities, documentaries, and reportage, showcasing current events or everyday life situations that deserve to be seen and understood by a wide audience.)


MISCELLANEOUS

A photograph that does not fit into any of the other sub-categories.

(e.g.: Here are some ideas: Creative reflections, Abstract in motion, Broken mirrors, Metallic objects, Industrial textures, Raw textures like rust, Deformed metal, Old advertising signs, Retro or abandoned signs with a history, often found in old or neglected neighborhoods, A broken chair in a field or an old rusty bicycle, Silhouettes in misty or foggy landscapes to create a mysterious atmosphere….)


SPORTS

(e.g., individual sports (badminton, boxing, cycling, golf, skiing, tennis, gymnastics, squash, surfing, swimming, skating, ice climbing, rock climbing, any individual sport), races (car, bike, motorcycle, boat, various races), team sports (basketball, volleyball, handball, baseball, football, hockey, any team sports).

(e.g., retouching an old or recent photo – present the before and after photos together, retouch the image by changing the environment, clothing, lighting,….)

(e.g., restoration of an old photo – present the before and after photos together, restoring a damaged, torn, discolored, or otherwise impaired photo)

Combine two or more photos to create a final image. All photos must be included either below, on the side, or above the final image.
