As part of the UMENCIA™ contest (the « Contest »), UMENCIA (the « Organizer ») will receive photographs submitted by participants (« Participant » or « You »). In this regard, in accordance with the Contest rules, you will need to:
- Complete an account opening with information that could, directly or indirectly, identify you (Hereafter, in the Consent section: « my Personal Information »)
- Transmit photographs that could identify another person or a minor under 14 years of age for whom that person has parental authority or is the guardian, and therefore be considered personal information (collectively, hereafter, in the Consent section: « Third-Party Personal Information »).
As a Participant :
- I hereby authorize the Organizer to collect, use, disclose and retain my Personal Information or, as the case may be, Third-Party Personal Information for the purpose of organizing, administering and implementing the Contest. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I authorize the Organizer to collect, use, disclose and retain my Personal Information and, as applicable, Third-Party Personal Information, individually or in combination with others, for the purposes of, among other things:
- Administer the Contest, including sharing the photos with the judges to determine the winners;
- To reproduce the photographs on its social media, its website, any promotional material and any publication concerning the Organizer, regardless of their format;
- To present the photographs in public, for example in an exhibition;
- To reproduce the photographs in a souvenir book and to market this souvenir book; and
- To reproduce the photographs in the context of a quarterly review by the Organizer on its website and platforms.
- I certify that I have obtained the required consent and have diligently fulfilled my legal obligations in my jurisdiction for the collection, use, disclosure and retention of Third-Party Personal Information.
- I authorize the Organizer to retain, use and disclose my Personal Information and the Third-Party Personal Information for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above.
- I authorize the Organizer to mention my name when using the photographs for the above purposes.
- I certify that I have read the Privacy Policy and that in this regard, I am aware of my rights with respect to my Personal Information and that I have informed any third party to whom I have collected Personal Information of their rights with respect to that information.
- I agree that the Organizer may disclose my Personal Information and the Third-Party Personal Information to any agent or representative or to any party to a business or services contract when necessary for the performance of his or her duties or the execution of his or her mandate or contract in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
I CONFIRM THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD this consent form, the Privacy Policy and the Contest Rules.
