They should highlight social, political, economic, or cultural aspects of our world, public personalities, documentaries, and reportage, showcasing current events or everyday life situations that deserve to be seen and understood by a wide audience.)

A photograph that does not fit into any of the other sub-categories.

This category values creativity, originality, and visual storytelling within compositions. It includes composite images/photos or those created through multiple exposures, as well as those significantly modified by digital retouching.

Allowed:

• The photo must be taken by the photographer: While computer-generated elements are permitted, the core of the image (its main subject and key components) must rely on photographic capture skills.
• Illustration of a concept or idea using hybrid techniques (retouching with AI, Photoshop, or similar software).

Not Allowed:

• No stock images/photos or images entirely generated digitally.
• Images/photos primarily created or generated by computer algorithms are not accepted in this category and must be submitted to the Digital.

In case of uncertainty regarding the elements of the image, Umencia Art Photo reserves the right to request access to the original files used to create the final image.
